Servicing the entire downtown core of Toronto with merely a fax machine, telephone and a photocopier.  With zero automation and an employee base of 4, we were forced to quickly build credibility and produce results in order to ensure sustainable wins.

In 1995, we experienced extraordinary growth. Our vision was to make a lasting impact within the recruitment business sector. With over 50+ clients and doubling our staff to 8, we implemented a new network system to automate some of our processes. Determined to set and maintain high standards, we quickly realized that in addition to resiliency, we needed to ensure that all OPI staff shared the same values and standards as the business model. Thus, OPI institutionalized core principles and values to drive this new company culture forward.

We were determined to provide only the best and to manage the entire “Client – Candidate life-cycle” to generate real value to all those we touched. The OPI mission was to become therecruitment partner of choice.” This rebirth, new focus, and determination drew OPI closer to its ultimate goal. OPI became a “one-stop shop” service for our clients with extended offerings to include positions in IT, Finance, Operations, Manufacturing, Apparel, Legal, Travel, Sales & Marketing and Administration.  We were able to mitigate the down turn risks of the recession by quickly adapting to the business environment and retained our clients by offering additional valued services such as loyalty discounted rates and free-testing of non-registered candidates. By differentiating ourselves from our competitors, OPI was able to better leverage the relationships of both our clients and candidates.

In 2005, we expanded to become what is now known as Options Consulting Solutions (OCS) with new services that included consulting for “right-sizing” human capital and introducing executive search for senior and very specific roles, resulting in a greater market share.

Today, Options Consulting Solutions (OCS) is a fully automated, full-service recruitment firm with more than 4500+ clients and a private office located in the heart of historic Yorkville, Toronto. We specialize in partnering with our clients and candidates to facilitate their staffing requirements, both in Public and Private Sectors.  OCS staffs for positions at all levels, ranging from entry level to C-Suite including positions that require proficiency in French, English, and Spanish languages. As generalists, we staff for clients within a variety of industry sectors and have successfully assisted with recruitment mandates on a global scale.
